Answers
  • How does Advantage Gutter Guard® work?

Advantage Gutter Guard® design depends on the physics principle of liquid adhesion. The cohesion between water molecules forces water to go around the nose of the cover. Advantage Gutter Guard® uses the scientifically proven principle of surface tension, this directs even the heaviest rainfall into the gutter and away from your foundation. This concept in gutter protection has been in use for over thirty-five years. Gutter Cover of Kansas City has been installing proven gutter protection for almost two decades in the Kansas City metro. This design concept has worked on thousands of homes in Kansas City!

  • Why do I need Advantage Gutter Guard®?

One of the greatest threats to a home is rainwater. A typical 2000 square foot roof must deal with 1,250 gallons of water with just a one-inch rainfall. The gutter system must efficiently channel the massive amount of water away from your home and foundation. If the gutter system or downspouts are clogged, the gutters can't perform and damage to the structure begins. When the downspouts are not properly placed or not adequately sized to get the water away from the foundation damage to the home’s structure can occur. Pools of water near the foundation can weaken the load-bearing capacity of the foundation and this increases the chances of wall settlement and cracking. It is vital to correct and repair the guttering issues. Advantage Gutter Guard® is designed to keep gutters clean and free-flowing. Only a leaf guard system that works is worth the investment.  Advantage Gutter Guard® is guaranteed to work!

  • How Do Virtual Estimates Work?

The estimator will call you and let you know they have arrived and ask for any specific areas of concern that you have with your home. Next, the Gutter Cover KC professional will walk around the exterior of your house.

During this time the estimator will do a 21-point evaluation of your guttering system, take photos of problem areas, and make measurements. This normally takes 30-45 minutes.

Once the estimator is done compiling all the information, he will email you the photos taken during the evaluation process.

Then the Gutter Cover Kansas City® professional will begin your preferred virtual appointment by either a call or video chat.

During this conversation, they will address any of your concerns, explain where your water problems are coming from and offer solutions - all from outside your home.

If you chose to video chat they will either walk around the outside of your home and show you via live video the areas of specific concerns and solutions or use the photos they emailed you before initiating the video chat.

If you selected a phone call, they will direct you to the photos they emailed before the phone call began.
